All of these web sites contain information about gender equity in sports and Title IX.  Some approach the issue from the practical side by discussing plans for implementation of the law, whereas others look at the issue from the morality side by stating that it is right for women to be proportionately represented in sports, but is it right to take away men's teams to add women's?  A few of these sites look at different schools and relate in what areas the school has changed to comply with Title IX and in what areas the school needs to improve.  Most of these web sites encompass many viewpoints, those of male athletes, female athletes, university officials, and the NCAA, about Title IX.

This site relates Indiana University's plan of implementing Title IX to attain proportionality in its athletics.

This is a newspaper online that contains an article that discusses what colleges have done, and what they need to do to comply with Title IX.  It focuses on Florida schools, but also looks at Title IX in a general sense.

This site looks at Title IX from the male perspective.  Men are upset because their Olympic team sports are being cut in order to increase the amount of women's teams and the funding for those teams.

This article comes from the magazine Women's Sports World.  It states that men's sports especially football and basketball are losing money; money that could be spent on women's teams.

This web site titled "Gender Equity in Sports" is from the University of Iowa.  It looks at the NCAA and its implementation of Title IX.

This site, also from the University of Iowa, is a presentation on Title IX and gender equity.  It looks at athletic participation in high school and college and discusses the lack of proportionality between males and females.

This is the table of contents for an article in Women's Sports Report. It looks at five different aspects or proportionality at various schools and discusses how they could be changed to improve women's athletics.
